CONSERVATION ACTION
Conservation action underpins Falklands Conservation’s outreach and ambition work.
We undertake applied research and practical conservation activities for the benefit of the Falklands natural environment.
Falklands Conservation has four main areas in which it works to achieve this; these four priority areas have been identified as being vitally important to the long-term health and wellbeing of the natural environment of the Falklands, and the fantastic wildlife that we share these islands with.

This action is translated into a range of different short-term and long-term projects that help us better understand and conserve the local wildlife and their habitats. These range from the seabird monitoring programme begun in 1989, to our newly launched cetacean project. Take a look at our activities here.

Community Involvement
We work on behalf of our members, and in partnership with the local and international community to conserve the Falklands natural environment by community outreach, practical conservation, research and delivery.
